Here's a look at my October 2023 Crafting Frolics
Easy Autumn Pot Holder Craft

I pulled out my old weaving loom that I bought from Goodwill years ago, a bag of old Autumn weaving loops that I bought from Hobby Lobby years ago, and one of my old crochet hooks. Then I created these two Fall Pot Holders.
You can buy a weaving loom kit like this one on Amazon, HERE. No need for the crochet hook, as this kit comes with everything you need to get started.
Hobby Lobby still carries the Autumn weaving loops, so you can get them HERE. Or you can just use the hoops that comes with the weaving loom kit from Amazon, above.
For this next craft of mine, I used Heroforge.com
If you have never heard of heroforge.com before, I'll tell you that is a free-to-use online character design application which allows you to design gorgeous, high-resolution characters in full 3D, right in your browser.
My sister, Brenda, was my inspiration for this hero that I created.
I started off by making a list of somethings that my sister, Brenda, likes.
Brenda enjoys quilting & creating collages. I mimicked these likes by, picking out different quilting looking patterns for each piece of clothing.
Brenda enjoys planning & journaling. So, I added a pen & book, for my hero to hold.
Brenda also usually has a water bottle with her. So, I added a water bottle to my hero as well.
Brenda is always telling me about her crystals and has told me about a sphere that she wants. So, I made sure to add some crystals and a sphere to the base around my hero.
Brenda has five children and it's like she has eyes in the back of her head when it comes to them. So, I included an eye on the cap to support this trait of hers.
Brenda has told me about a time or two that she dressed as a witch for Halloween. And sense we are so close to Halloween 2023, I went ahead & added a witch hat to my hero.
And lastly... Brenda's favorite color is purple. So, I made sure to add lots of purple details mixed with the colors from pinkysfrolics Oct 2023 color challenge.
If you find you have somethings in common with my sister, Brenda, then feel free to check out her blog "Home Again Patchwork".
Here's my hero for this months crafting frolics.
